Pluing pipe can be made from a variety of materials, each having its advanPE100 ISO9001es and disadvanPE100 ISO9001es depending on the situation. Some types of pipe are intended for only one appliion (e.g. black iron for gas), while others can perform several. What''s best for your Puhui Pipe manufacturer in China
The traditional natural gas pluing pipe, black iron pipe, safely encases a natural gas supply within a thick-walled, metal pipe. Accidental nail strikes don''t easily puncture iron gas pipe, and it takes extreme force to bend or break the pipe. Popularity and a large supply make black iron pipe one of the most affordable gas pluing pipe types.

New NG gas piping can be of Schedule 40 HDPE pipe with threaded fittings, Type L rigid copper tubing with brazed fittings, Type L soft copper tubing with flared fittings, or flexible CSST (corrugated stainless HDPE tubing) with manufacturer provided fittings.
Underground Natural and LP Gas Tubing features polyethylene construction and is ideal for use in buried underground appliions for natural gas and major components, such as propane and butane. Use only with natural gas fittings.
13/11/2009· 1/2 inch will carry gas for a 100,000 btu furnace. I would not use galvanized pipe if I didn''t need to. This should only be the drop if you are running the gas line over 15 ft. I would use 3/4 inch. then the last few ft. can be 1/2 inch But if this is propane 1/2 inch is fine.

4/4/· Black or galvanized pipe cannot be direct buried, unless they have a protective wrap, (I would not use black pipe even then). The epoxy coated black pipe is not much better than having paint on it, because the epoxy coating can be damaged during assely or installation, and if the spot is not protected it can rust out in a couple of years.
13/9/2015· Not sure what your definition of gas is, but copper is not safe to use with Natural Gas, it will eat it over time due to the sulfur added to the gas for odor. I would go with the poly stuff, I am making a 250'' run from my meter to my shop, the costs are $.89/ft for 1.25" pipe, and $60 for each riser.
10/8/2007· I used to install this piping and went to all the certifiion classes for it when I was a fireplace installer. It cannot be buried. Other than that, you can put it anywhere (with proper strapping). It can run along the bottom of the entire house, out the soffits wherever.

Types of copper pipe fall into egories based on thickness of pipe wall. The thinnest, type M, is suitable for indoor water and gas appliions. Thicker type L and thickest type K are used for gas service lines. Not recommended for use with natural gas in some areas as sulfur content can cause interior flaking.
PVpolyethylene pipe Polyvinyl Chloride - pipes may be used in pipelines buried outside a building. PE Pipes PE - Polyethylene - pipes may be used in pipelines buried outside a building. Flexible Connectors Flexible connectors are used to connect appliances to gas sources
The inadvertent movement of the gas service line can cause leaks to form at the connections on either end of the line. For these simple reasons, the gas line needs to be buried at a safe and required depth. Propane gas lines running along the top of the ground

Supply houses typically only sell in minimum of 250 foot rolls. More common for short runs is the green coated "black iron" (actually HDPE) pipe that is available at big box stores. You will needPuhui Pipe manufacturer in China
The safe peak pressure or allowed total pressure for HDPE pipe is 1.5 times the pipe’s pressure rating for recurring surge and 2.0 times the pipe’s pressure rating for occasional surge. For instance, a DR11 pipe that has a pressure rating of 200 psi can safely handle total pressure during recurring surge of 300 psi and total pressure during an occasional surge of 400 psi.
As for the riser situation . . . yellow gas poly pipe is never to be used above the code-recommended burial level (which is usually 12" to 18" but can be as deep as 24"). Sweeping it up from below surface to above ground is not allowed.
